Ok, I just had to do this ever since I started learning the lore about Warcraft races. The Gnomes are particularly interesting as they are said to have “evolved?” or “cursed?” from a race of robots. Hmm… sounds familiar huh? I always knew those buggers were evil and now there’s proof… they are really Cylons!

The inspiration for the above image was from the iconic Evolution of Man illustration, aka “March of Progress” by Rudolph Zallinger.

For those unfamiliar with Engineering or Mechanical NPCs, here’s the line up:
A-Me 01, Target Dummy, Clockwork Assistant, Mechagnome, Cylon, Number Six Gnome.

So first the were escaped lab Mandrills then sentient training dummy's then giant rockem sockem robots then bronze cyborg pygmys then midget storm troopers and now there the strong and sexy (I don't have a midget fetish they are mighty and attractive) midgets we know and love/hate? Best evolution process ever
